2. Products & Use

Our store offers both digital products (eBooks, guides, downloads) and physical products (calendars, poetry books, and other creations).
All digital products are for personal, non-commercial use only. Redistribution, resale, or copying of our digital content is not permitted.
Physical products may vary slightly in color or print from images shown on our website due to screen display differences.

3. Pricing & Currency

All prices are listed in Euro (EUR), the base currency of The Ascending Bear. 
For your convenience, you may view prices in your local currency through Shopify’s automatic currency conversion feature.

Please note:

  • All payments are processed in EUR, or converted at your bank’s exchange rate at the time of purchase.

  • Small variations may occur due to conversion rates or international bank fees.

  • We are not responsible for any additional fees applied by your payment provider or card issuer.

We accept secure payments via major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express), as well as PayPal, Klarna, Bancontact, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay.

All payments are processed securely through Shopify’s encrypted checkout to protect your personal and financial information.

4. Tax Information

As a paušalni obrt (flat-rate sole proprietorship), The Ascending Bear is not registered in the VAT system under Croatian law.
Therefore, no VAT (PDV) is charged on your purchase.
All prices shown are final.

5. Shipping & Delivery

All physical products are printed and shipped through our trusted global print and fulfillment partners using the facility closest to your delivery address.
This allows for faster, more sustainable shipping and reduced customs delays.

Processing and production time is usually 2–5 business days, followed by estimated delivery of 3–10 business days, depending on your location and local courier.

Buyers are responsible for any customs fees or import taxes that may apply.
We are not liable for delays caused by customs, postal services, or force majeure events.

Digital products (eBooks, guides, and downloads) are delivered automatically via email immediately after purchase.
If you don’t receive your download link within 15 minutes, please check your spam or promotions folder.
If it’s still missing, contact us at info@theascendingbear.com and we’ll resend your files promptly.

6. Refunds & Returns

Digital products are final sale and non-refundable once downloaded or accessed.
Physical products may be returned within 14 days of delivery in their original condition and packaging.
Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.

7. Accuracy & Modifications

We strive for accuracy, but occasional errors in product descriptions, pricing, or availability may occur.
We reserve the right to correct such errors and to modify or discontinue products at any time without notice.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia and applicable EU consumer protection regulations.
In case of dispute, parties will seek amicable resolution; if unresolved, the competent court in Croatia shall have jurisdiction.
