About the Bear

Hi, I’m Eva. 

A writer, a poet and a friendly bear. 

I’ve always followed my intuition and that deep inner knowing, even when it sounded completely crazy or unrealistic.

From moving to the UK, to eventually coming back home to Croatia, to one day feeling called to create The Ascending Bear,  I’ve learned to trust that little voice, even when I have no idea where it’s taking me.

I started The Ascending Bear to share what I’ve learned along my own spiritual journey, because we all know how confusing and lonely this stuff can get. Having a friend who understands all the woo-woo things can sometimes feel like a burden lifted from your shoulders.

For almost 10 years, I’ve been actively exploring and experiencing spirituality from synchronicities, manifestation, energy, prophetic dreams to moments that completely blow your mind and make you question everything you thought you knew about how the world works.

I’ve explored concepts from the Silva Method and energy work to shamanism, read more books than I can count and tried plenty of techniques along the way.

And eventually I realized something:

Knowing about spirituality is one thing. Actually living it is another.

You can know all the signs and symbols, learn all the methods and techniques, and still find yourself thinking: Okay… what do I actually do with all this?

How do I stay present? How do I hear my intuition and actually follow it? What the fuck is shadow work?… 

That’s what I care about.

I look at my own life over the past few years almost like a case study. I want to find the simple things that actually help, so that when someone comes along feeling lost or confused, I can say:

“Okay, my friend. I’ve been there. Here’s what helped me.”

I started the Bear with no plan. Just a feeling.

That feeling grew into a space on Instagram that expanded much faster than I ever expected. I followed something that called me, and somehow other people started finding themselves in those words too.

And with a growing community came a lot of questions.

So I felt called to start creating digital guides I wished I'd had along my own journey.

Today, The Ascending Bear is my little corner of the internet for spirituality, self-trust, intuition, growth, and all the strange, crazy and beautiful things that happen when you start paying attention to your inner world.

I believe you already carry everything you need for this journey within you.

I’m just here to help you hear it a little more clearly and maybe lighten some of the parts that feel dark, confusing or overwhelming.
